Most journaling habits fail in the second week. These are the things that help it stick.

Anchor it to something you already do

Journal right after an existing routine: the commute home, making tea, or getting into bed. A fixed anchor beats a fixed time.

Keep it short

Five minutes counts. A short conversation every day beats a long one every Sunday.

Lower the bar on bad days

On a bad day, say “I don’t have much today”. dazie will keep it to one or two questions.

Look back once a week

Read the week’s entries and its patterns. Seeing your own progress is what keeps most people going.
